New Member Orientation

Welcome to MTAM and to the Massage Therapy profession! 

Join MTAM staff for a live presentation hosted by members of our Practice Management and Member Services team.  

In the MTAM New Member Orientation you will review membership and business tips to help you familiarize yourself with MTAM and get a great start to your massage therapy practice including: 

  • Setting up your member profile to take advantage of your free “Find an RMT” referral page listing.  
  • Receipts and documentation best practices (so you can get paid, clients can be reimbursed, and you’re prepared in the event of an audit), 
  • Setting business and professional development goals. 
  • Review business basics (Finding the best contracts/employment agreement for you and other start-up tips). 
  • Reviewing member responsibilities including updating your contact and practice info and how to renew your membership. 

The orientation is a great opportunity to start meeting your colleagues, take part in live Q&A, and to learn how MTAM can support you in your career.

Contact MTAM and your email or call will be forwarded to the member of the team best suited to assist you whether it’s: 

  • Practice support for anything related to your practice (best practices, marketing and advertising, record keeping, workplace challenges)
